cool runnings

With Spook giving me the 'look' it was time to go for a run up to High Willhays before the snow melted.

Parking at Prewley Water Works we headed round to the West Okement and crossed over just before Black Tor Copse. My resurrected Inov8s coped well with the terrain (can't remember why I stopped wearing them) as we padded upstream to Sandy Ford.

Climbing up to Fordsland's Ledge I was glad of the cooling breeze and was starting to wish I'd worn my shorts. On up to High Willhays for this shot.

Heading over to Yes Tor I arrived at the same time as a couple of comprehensively equipped walkers. One said 'You're making me feel overdressed.'
Picking a route down the north side of Yes Tor through the crispy snow and brown bracken stems was superb. Spook made it look effortless.

Heading across Homerton Hill we took the luxurious option of the footbridge crossing of the West Okement and back to the car park. Looking forward to more of the white stuff and the perfect running temperatures.
