Pendle Plod and Kentmere Canter

Based in Preston for a couple of days meant a good opportunity to get out running in bits I hadn't been to before. Pendle Hill from Barley on Tuesday afternoon was an ideal leg-stretch after the long drive. V friendly sheep up here(!) - more to do with the lack of Spook than my magnetic ovine personality I think.......

Off to Kentmere on Wednesday and the first time I've been running down this corner of the Lakes. Gorgeous day - a bit chilly in the morning which explains the full-on Arctic kit. By 11 it was warming up nicely - luckily a north-easterly breeze kept me from cooking.

The roller-coaster run back to the car.............

  2. Was a brilliant couple of days - I forget how pretty it is up there sometimes. It was a bit weird running without my partner in crime though - he's still sulking about his holiday in the kennels.

  4. Oh yeah. Sometimes wish we lived a bit closer but have always loved Dartmoor and the coast.
