The Golden Path

High Down was chosen by Spook the wonder dog as a likely aprez-work blast to get rid of the cobwebs.

We wended up to Brat Tor before picking a way up to Great Links and then on to Kitty Tor for views over to High Willhays, Hangingstone Hill and Fur Tor. Green Tor provided a suitable wee-stop before we dropped down to the Rattlebrook and finished off with another visit to Brat Tor. After the descent to the splash through the Lyd, the sun thought it was a good time to do its thing with the Autumn bracken.

I'm all Mavis off of Coronation Street about the 50. I don't really know.... I can see myself chucking my hat in the ring, though. You doing it?
